Hi there! We are the husband & wife duo behind the lens of Shutter Open based in Houston, Texas. Our journey in photography began in 2020, and what started as a hobby quickly became something we truly love. We’re dedicated to capturing the moments that make your story yours. the quiet glances, the happy tears, the laughter & all the small details in between you’ll want to remember for years to come.

Our approach is simple: Get the shot! Genuine moments, beautiful details, and in between memories that can’t be recreated. As parents of two beautiful daughters, we know just how quickly life’s most special moments pass & we also understand that not every moment goes perfectly. Our experience as parents has taught us patience, flexibility, and how to make kiddos feel comfortable in front of the camera. We’re happy to slow down, have a little fun & let kids be themselves while still capturing moments. That’s why we’re dedicated to preserving not only how a moment looked, but how it felt.
